Over the years we’ve noticed that just after cars come out of warranty they “suddenly” need a lot of repairs.  We were always of the opinion that while your car is still under warranty, any problems that develop would be repaired while the car is at the dealer for scheduled service.  But the truth is that unless you know there’s a problem and complain about it, that problem will not be addressed.  That doesn’t seem right to us either, but that’s how it works.

So we’ve got a recommendation:  midway between your car’s unreasonably long factory oil change intervals, bring your car to The Motor Works.  We’ll change your oil and during our inspection we'll identify any repairs that the manufacturer will repair, free of charge, under your lease or new-car warranty.  And then shortly before your car’s about to come off warranty, let us inspect your vehicle again.  We'll identify any repairs that will be made at no cost to you before the vehicle comes out of warranty.  You paid a lot for that warranty, and we think you should get your moneys worth!
